Own a stake in Africa's growing real estate market.
A Property DAO enables investors to fund, co-own, and manage real estate properties. Ownership isn't centralized, it's shared among all members. Each DAO is anchored by a legally registered Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) that holds the property title.
This model turns your on-chain investment into real, legally recognized property ownership.
How Property DAOs work.
Property Listing
Oaksvale sets up a special purpose vehicle for land acquisition, property design, and development. Each listing on the Oaksvale DAO platform provides key details: project overview, funding goals, and expected returns.
Investors fund their Oaksvale account with USDC stablecoin, then select a property to participate in. They contribute USDC and receive a digital ownership token, A property unit representing their economic rights in the property.
Governance & Voting
Once a project is fully funded and developed, DAO members participate in transparent on-chain voting on key decisions:
- Future resale of the property
- Other key decisions
Every investor has a voice in how the property is managed. Approved decisions are then executed on the ground by the Oaksvale property management subsidiary in that jurisdiction.
Property Management & Operations
Oaksvale is the operational manager of every tokenized asset. In each jurisdiction where a property is located, we establish a dedicated Oaksvale property management subsidiary that runs the asset on behalf of the SPV and its unit holders.
The local Oaksvale entity executes the collective decisions of the DAO governance, oversees day-to-day operations, maintenance, leasing, and vendor management, and reports performance back to unit holders, ensuring smooth, accountable, and compliant running of the property.
Revenue Distribution
When a property generates income from rentals or resale, earnings are sent to the DAO treasury wallet. Investors can claim their share directly, proportional to their ownership percentage — settled on-chain, transparently.
Legal & Compliance Framework
Oaksvale ensures every property DAO operates transparently and in full compliance with local regulations.
- Special purpose vehicle (SPV): Each project's SPV is registered in the host country to legally hold property titles.
- Local property management entity: An Oaksvale-owned property management company is established in each jurisdiction to operate the asset and execute DAO decisions under local law.
- KYC Integration: All investors undergo verification to meet local and international investment standards, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Every DAO is backed by a registered SPV holding the property title.
Funding, distributions, and ownership records all settle in USDC on-chain.
Co-owners vote on maintenance, resale, and key operational decisions, executed on the ground by Oaksvale's local property management entity.
